Utility of Materials Designed to Support Teaching: Strong (2)
This lesson plan is well thought out, but pertains a whole lot about Washington. This lesson plan would take up many days of class, but they would all discuss Washington. With presenting the subject matter, this is an awesome resource.

This lesson plan consists of 9 activities and lesson plans. Each lesson plan clearly defines how the activity relates to the subject matter. There is even a section that gives the students and teacher an explanation on how it relates.

In the moment, students will learn loads about Washington and his actions. Through this activity, however, the activity could use some materials for the before and after this topic is addressed.

A teacher could make these activities technology based, but this lesson plan is not set up in that way. It would take some personal touch for me to make this technology friendly, but it is not impossible. This lesson seems to be made for the paper and pencil type of classroom.

These activities do a fantastic job at giving the tecacer an outline of the lesson plan. Each activity consists of the same structure, which can be seen as a blessing and a curse. Students like structure but they don't like Toby bored. These activities support skill acquisition.

Through this lesson plan, students are encouraged to think critically individually. With much of this lesson being individual work it is difficult for these students to think collaboratively. A teacher could, again, put their personal touch on it to make some of these activities group work.
