In the early part of the 21st century, several LGBTQIA+ focused clothing brands emerged on the market. The purpose of this project is to document the history of each brand using the oral history method. We conducted oral histories with 24 brands with questions ranging from their own personal histories to how and why they started the brand. We are interested in the lives of the individuals who founded the brands in addition to the entire story of each brand from idea development to today so that way these stories can be a documented as an important part of fashion and retail history. We purposefully make these oral history transcripts available to the community in order to move research beyond the walls of the academy and make knowledge accessible to everyone.

This supplement was designed to help students build a strong foundation in aural training and sight singing by progressing through the core rhythmic and melodic patterns that are found in music. Through the progression of content, students will build skills in pattern recognition and an understanding of how music functions. Rhythms for each section include single and two-part examples as well as pitched examples for use in aural training. Melodies for each section include single line melodies, canons, duets, and chorales. Melodies were designed to be easily accessible for students with basic keyboard skills, and were written without articulation and dynamic markings to allow students and instructors the flexibility to personalize them.

In Basic Engineering Data Collection and Analysis, Stephen B. Vardeman and J. Marcus Jobe stress the practical over the theoretical. Step by step, students get real engineering data and scenario examples along with chapter-long case studies that illustrate concepts in realistic, thoroughly detailed situations. This approach encourages students to work through the material by carrying out data collection and analysis projects from problem formulation through the preparation of professional technical reports—just as if they were on the job.

The laboratory content of the course is divided into six topics, each with a unique focus. Each topic is presented in two sessions: (1) a case-study session and (2) a laboratory session. These sessions meet in succession and are designed so that focus topics are introduced in the case-study and extended in the laboratory. In case study, the relevance of chemistry to the focus topic is developed and experimental strategies and methods are discussed and demonstrated. In the laboratory, students conduct experiments, acquire data, and analyze results to further their understanding of the selected chemical systems. Please check the course syllabus for the specific dates of the case study and laboratory meetings and check MyUI for your meeting time and room assignment information. MyUI is available at https://myui.uiowa.edu/my-ui/home.page. The course syllabus can be obtained on the CHEM:1120 course web page which can be accessed through Iowa Courses Online (ICON) available at http://icon.uiowa.edu.

Successful Pharmacology course completion requires students to mentally overlay complex mechanisms of drug action onto intricate body physiology to make sense of how drugs both correct and cause disease. Unfortunately, many students (undergraduate – health professional) lack the needed study/critical thinking skills required to navigate this complex curriculum. Providing students with lecture content and study guides is only a partial solution as they often fail, alone, to adequately convey the thought structure required for student success. Therefore, this series of application/critical thinking worksheets was developed to demystify, model, and guide students through the critical thinking processes that need to be employed when engaging the Pharmacology curriculum.
